Winter is on my head,
But eternal spring is in my heart – Victor Hugo

I love this post! It looks like everything has fallen into a winter hiberation, waiting for the first signs of spring to awaken again! I kind of feel the same!
    Lovely pics!

Thanks, Lia! It is difficult to avoid that feeling of hibernation in January, don’t you think? Have no fear – Spring will be back! It always has before. ;). All we need is a sign……should we be on the lookout for one?

Oh I appreciate your optimism:) Yes it’s true that spring always does come back and then we forget what it’s like to be cold!
The first crocus flowers are always my sign of spring!
Sending you many good wishes for a great start to the week!

Ok. Let me know when you see a crocus bloom….
When my hens start laying eggs again I feel the seasons are turning. (That doesn’t mean that the snow/cold is over with, mind you). Last year, the first egg cam on Jan. 17…….nothing yet this year…..but I remain optimistic ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh I love that! Your hen is like the Groundhog that predicts spring:) I hope she lays one soon:))

Here’s hoping spring is just around the corner, although I doubt that it is! We have snow in Knoxville, Tennessee sometimes as late as April. We appreciate your following our blog, Oh, the Places We See. Best wishes to you as you continue writing and posting great pics. http://ohtheplaceswesee.com

Hi. Thanks for popping by! It would be nice if Spring were just round the corner, wouldn’t it? :). Lucky for you to have snow. No snow here in NS …. Not today, anyway…. We did yesterday, but today we have pouring rain and unusually mild temps. Not a snowflake to be seen. So strange! Typically we can have snow even in May…..but who knows what will happen this year? I’m enjoying your blog, very much! And I look forward to reading more from you. Cheers from here!!
