A Garden Door

Summertime! Historic Home & Garden (and boat!) Tour.  Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia. A delightful find.  A secret little summerhouse tucked into the corner of one property……

The door is open…… Let’s step inside….

Looks like an invitation to sit, perhaps read a little (maybe a seed catalogue), dream a little …..croquet, anyone?

Oh!  Or have a nap in the hammock!

Oh my – that is every gardener’s dream door. I hope it is yours so I can smile thinking about you enjoying it. 🙂

I wish it was! But, alas ……
We can both dream of it.

Nice choice, I love that little town! I’ll take the hammock please 🙂

Okay. You can have the hammock … I’ll take the chair.

Now that is a dream summerhouse. It has inspired me to open up our cabin in the garden with more windows.

That’s great! I’m looking forward to photos, when you’ve finished. 😊

      Dreamy, isn’t it? “a room of one’s own” …..

SO relaxing, Janet. I want to take my book and a cup of tea (or a glass of red) and just while the hours. Of course my camera will be at the ready as well. 🙂

    Happy Easter!

What a charming little garden hide-away!

    • JanetRimmington April 1, 2016 / 8:47 pm

Thanks! Isn’t it, though? And “hide-away” is the correct description. It was tucked into s corner of the property. Not visible from the house. It’s not mine, but it sure gives a girl ideas!! 😀

Unfortunately I don’t have the property to do something like that …. otherwise I definitely would!!
